This leads to the ability to improve workflow. Instead of one person (or group) deciding how your workflow should be organized, these media rich applications allow you to fully tailor to meet your needs. To put it into more common perspective, it’s akin to the difference between furnishing your own office, putting the computer and the chair into the spot that is most comfortable to you, to rigid, carbon copy cubicles that stifle creativity. A good example of this form of application woud be ProtoPage, a site that allows you to tailor your home page as you would your own computer’s desktop and take it wherever you would go.

It’s quite a promising technology, and I’m quite excited to explore what it has to offer.
