What does Android success look like?
Via My Dinner With Android
I think the main point here is that Android is competing with iOS on a plane outside of the consumer market. They both want developers and exclusives and features and demand, and these forces are coming from the top: Apple and Google. But when it comes to consumers plunking down money for a new phone, Android handsets are squarely competing against other Android handsets. Good for Google; less so for manufacturers. Why we are still seeing Android ads attacking the iPhone rather than other Android handsets is beyond me. But it feels like something is eventually going to have to give for Android to be a win for Google and phone manufacturers.
